About this Project
Our team listened to the customer’s power needs and developed a capacity solution that ensures that the items they rely on most remain powered during outages and periods of high energy costs.
Tesla Powerwall is a fully integrated AC battery for residential use. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack provides energy storage for self-consumption, time-based control, and backup.
Their energy storage system will help them realize the benefits of reliable, clean power.
We installed a Homegrid battery bank to feed the home’s existing generator panel during a power outage. The current solar connection was re-wired into the backup microgrid and a new Sol Ark inverter. One circuit containing a refrigerator was added to the backup panel.
Our team also installed an inlet to allow a portable generator to plug in and charge the batteries and power loads should there not be enough solar energy available.
The Homegrid Stack’d battery offers a highly modular storage option with a safe and stable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. This maintenance-free and easily upgradeable system is the perfect solution for replacing lead-acid batteries or adding new storage for a home, with or without solar.
