Say hello to Solar Savings

Synergy Resource Solutions commissioned Independent Power Systems to design and install a unique commercial solar power system on the roof of one of its facilities in Bozeman, Montana using 101 SunPower SPR327 high-efficiency commercial solar panels. Given the building’s proximity to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, the owner of Synergy Resource Solutions wanted to give a warm Montana hello to travelers flying in on the final approach flight path by having the solar panels spell out “HOWDY”. The total solar generation of the system offsets the electrical consumption of three different buildings on the property. A monitoring system records the production of each of the 5 SunPower inverters.
